World Book Day Junior Room

World Book Day  was celebrated in grand style on Thursday March 7th! The school was buzzing with excitement as our students transformed into their favourite book characters, bringing the magic of literature to life.

Junior Room 

The Junior pupils commenced their World Book Day morning by engaging  in lots of fun reading activities, paired reading, eye spy characters and a book scavenger hunt. Later they completed some Character Profiles and descriptions where they went into role as their favourite book character. They then collaborated on some wonderful stories orally mixing up characters, settings, problems and solutions resulting in some hilarious endings. Finally, the children made creative bookmarks to use while reading their favourite books. What a wonderful World Book Day celebration it was!
