Pancake Tuesday 

For Pancake Tuesday, we celebrated in style by planning all our lessons in the senior room around the theme of pancakes. The children completed procedural writing, designing their recipes on Canva for both English and Gaeilge. We explored many maths problems related to baking from capacity and weight to ratios and fractions and the children created their own word problems to solve. We explored materials and change in science and finished off the day with a flipping competition.
