As Christmas 2025 approached, the school was filled with excitement, creativity and festive cheer as the children enjoyed a wide range of seasonal activities together. Classrooms were buzzing with imagination as pupils took part in Christmas-themed art, creating colourful decorations and artwork that helped bring the festive spirit to every corner of the school. The 5th and 6th Class pupils also worked together to decorate classrooms and shared spaces, proudly hanging decorations and helping to transform the school into a winter wonderland.
We had a special visit from Santa Claus and his hard working elves who enjoyed a sing song and gave the children beautiful gifts and tasty cookies.
On Tuesday, 16th December the children presented the annual Christmas Concert. All the pupils performed in a pantomime "Panto Pandemonium" and 6th Class performed a sketch entitled "Jones Road Nursing Home" where pupils showcased their talents through songs, performances and music for families and friends. It was a very entertaining night and extremely well supported with a huge audience, a successful raffle and beautiful refreshments.
The festive season was brought to a wonderful close before the holidays with special treats, hot chocolate, chocolate cake, Christmas movies and a pyjamas day.
These joyful activities will create lasting memories and truly capture the spirit of Christmas, making the lead-up to the holidays a special and magical time for everyone in our school community.
