BLAST Art Residency 

BLAST (Bringing Live Arts to Students and Teachers) aims to give students in primary and post primary schools all over the country the opportunity to work with a professional artist on unique projects to be planned and developed between the artist, the teacher and the school. Our school applied for a BLAST Arts-in-Education Residency to Athlone Education Centre and we were delighted to be be successful in this application. Our students were paired with Olive McDonagh from Butterfly Cottage Retreat and will be working on developing their creativity through mindfullness, artwork, music and collaboration.
