Grandparent's Day 2025

We hosted a special celebration for Grandparents on Wednesday, 12th February 2025.  The ceremony began with a warm welcome by the school Principal, who highlighted the significance of the day and expressed gratitude to the grandparents for their love, wisdom, and support. This was followed by a prayer service lead by Fr. Fitzsimons  which honoured and thanked the grandparents for their involvement in the children's lives and also a tribute to the grandparents who were not able to attend or had gone to heaven.  The prayer service was followed by some performances by the students. These included songs, music and a recitation. The Grandparents were then treated to some tea and refreshments and presented a gift bag as a token of gratitude from their grandchild. Finally, each grandparent was photographed with their grandchild as a souvenir of the occasion.  It was a wonderful success and a beautiful opportunity to thank the grandparents for all they do for their little ones.
